Georgia O'Keeffe Flower

This is a flower inspired by Georgia O'Keefffe. It is not quite finished yet' and when it is finished it will have several mechanical parts added to it. I want to add a stem made of different types of nuts and bolts and would like to put some gears in the mmiddle of the flower. 

Abstract

This is a piece I made with my living room in mind. My parents wanted something to hang in there so I got insprired by the neon green accents and blues on some of the cushions on our sofa. The image on the bottom is the actual painting and the image on the top is a close up to see the texture it has.

Matt's Birthday

I painted this as a birthday gift for my bofriend based off of a picutre from Prom 2009. I was really shaky about painting him a portrait because it is not what I am best at doing, but I surprised myself and him as well. I loved the resulting image I came up with and am glad I kept a monochramatic color scale with a hint of vivd lime green to really make the faces pop out.
